Autumn Equinox Retreat

18th - 20th of September, 2026

A two night retreat in a beautiful guest house in an isolated valley in the pre-Pyrenees. The retreat is designed to disconnect you from your screens and the hurly-burly of your day-to-day life and re-connect you to the felt presence of your body and its place in the natural environment.

We will do various activities with the intention of bringing you home to the ease of being embodied. These will include yoga, sound massages, vocalisations and drumming. All meals will be prepared collaboratively in order to promote group cohesion.

These activities will also help to prepare you for the mushroom ceremony that will be held on Saturday evening. You will be accompanied on a journey into the psychedelic experience and supported in your integration of the experience afterwards by experienced guides.

There will also be preparatory video-call sessions before the retreat starts and afterwards to continue supporting your integration.

The Autumn Equinox is the mid-point between the longest day of the year in June, when the Earth is tilted towards the Sun, and the shortest day in December, when it is tilted away from the Sun. It is one of two moments in the year when day and night are exactly the same length. The Autumn Equinox heralds the progressive shortening of the days culminating in the symbolic and literal dying back that is the Winter Solstice. This matters, because our bio-rhythms are naturally tuned to these long cycles of nature, or they would be if we were not so caught up in the faster, ungrounded and untethered rhythms of the culture in which we live. In this sense, the Equinox represents both basking in the last of the brightness and abundance of the summer and also the resolve not to cling to that which must inevitably die back in order to make way for new growth the following year. It is a time for giving thanks and letting go and these are principals that can be usefully applied to many areas of our lives.
