Community Event #1

Thanks to everyone who participated in our first event, a magic mushroom ceremony in the forest near Alpens. In the absence of mushrooms to forage, we connected deeply with the place with a little drumming, a little chanting, but mostly with a deeply felt appreciation of the abundance of life that surrounded us, in all its many shapes and sizes.

In March 2024, After the Rains held a mushroom ceremony for people from the village of Alpens. For some it was their first experience of taking magic mushrooms. The space was held by Carla and Oliver who provided a vibrational and musical accompaniment.

Everyone felt that the setting had been meticulously prepared and that they were accompanied with warmth and understanding.
